UB Royal College of Physicians Educator Program

Tuition and Fees

Your department and the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences pay the bulk of your tuition to UB/RCP, giving you access to our program at an excellent value.

The cost of UB/RCP varies with the number of participants, but averages $2500 total. This covers tuition, course materials, meals, and an assessment fee to ensure review of your two Educational Initiatives that includes written feedback.

Participant fee: $250

You pay a nominal fee for your tuition. Your department may pay this for you, depending on their policy.

Departmental portion: $1000

Your department will pay $1000 of your tuition. They may also elect to cover your participant fee, for a total of $1250 of your UB/RCP tuition (50% of the cost of the program).

Balance paid by the university: $1250

The medical school pays the remaining 50% of program expenses for UB/RCP participants to demonstrate its commitment to its faculty and their development.

Total program cost (approximate): $2500
Continuing Medical Education fee (optional): $100

Delegates electing to claim AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for their participation in the course pay a separate CME fee of $100.
