  • American College of Emergency Physicians, Geriatrics Committee; • A committee created to address the growing population of geriatric patients and to begin to address ways to better serve this group of people. (2008)
  • Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic- Student Director; Lighthouse Medical Clinic is a free clinic on the East side of Buffalo, NY serving free medical care and screenings to the homeless and uninsured Responsibilities included staffing the clinic (both physicians and medical students,)ordering supplies, fundraising and general maintenance of the clinic (2004–2006)
  • Refugee Clinic; Volunteer at a clinic dedicated to serving new refugee relocated to Buffalo, NY. Responsible for performing screening physicals and immunizations.; Volunteer (2003–2007)
  • Cornerstone Manor; • Cornerstone Manor is a shelter dedicated to battered women and children. As a volunteer,we performed physicals on the patients and attended to their medical complaints; Volunteer (2003–2005)
  • Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Volunteer; Child life volunteer on a pediatrics floor. Planned and organized multiple activities for children who were admitted to the hospital.; Volunteer (1999–2002)
