Clinical Trials

We are dedicated to studying potential new treatments and offering patients the latest diagnostic and care options before they’re widely available.

EPPIC Study

Our division received a $3.3 million award from the National Institutes of Health for the Easing Chronic Pelvic Pain Intervention Clinical Research Program (EPPIC).

Acronym EPPIC: Easing Chronic Pelvic Pain Interventions Research Program.

This study offers evidence-based non-drug treatment for individuals suffering with chronic pelvic pain.

All Clinical Trials

We design and run clinical trials backed by a variety of funding sources. Members of our division have been responsible for clinical trials that have led to groundbreaking therapies for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

We have a firm commitment to promoting the highest quality of care our discipline can offer for people in Western New York and around the world. Pursuing innovative approaches through clinical trials forms a key component of this mission. The UB Institutional Review Board reviews and monitors all of our research to ensure subjects are treated with the utmost respect and dignity throughout the course of each study.
