Emergency Medicine

You will receive comprehensive training in the evaluation and management of medical emergencies in an acute care setting.

Working under the supervision of emergency medicine attendings, you will be trained in the principles and practice of basic emergency medicine. We will teach you how to manage acute medical and surgical conditions, including how to triage, evaluate and manage patients.

In order to maximize your training, you will assume responsibility for a diverse caseload and will not be limited to obstetric and gynecologic patients.

You will experience the full spectrum of patients that present common problems encountered in an emergency department setting.
