Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting

We host analytical fluorescence-activated flow cytometers/cell sorters (FACS) and a state-of-the art high-speed cell sorter.

Instrumentation

  • a FACS Calibur four-color and a FACScan three-color system
  • a FACSAria high-speed cell sorter capable of analyzing and selecting cells based on up to seven fluorescent colors
  • a BD FACSArray Bioanalyzer that can perform multiplex cytokine analyses using the cytometric bead array technique
