ECRIP was established in 2000 to promote training of physicians in clinical research in order to advance biomedical research in New York State. The program provides Center Awards to teaching hospitals to assist clinician researchers for two years. Department of Surgery faculty member, Liise Kayler, and Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health faculty member, Ekaterina Noyes, have recently secured over $1 million in ECRIP grants to support their research efforts.
