Corder Family Scholarship Fund

This fund provides $2,500 ($1,250 per semester) to an undergraduate majoring in biochemistry, biomedical sciences, neuroscience or pharmacology and toxicology.

The scholarship was made possible by an endowment established by Linda (Lyn) Corder, former Associate Dean for Advancement and Alumni Affairs for UB’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Corder established the fund in memory of her parents for “the ideals they exemplified in our family, neighborhood, work places and through their own philanthropy – time, dedication and resources”.

The fund benefits hardworking and deserving undergraduates in the UB Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The first Corder scholarship was awarded for the 2019-2020 academic year.
