Undergraduates accepted to UB medical school through our early
assurance program bypass the pressures of the traditional medical
school application process, including the MCAT.
If you’re an undergraduate with excellent academic credentials and a commitment to a career in medicine, you may apply to our medical school during the second semester of your sophomore year.
If accepted, you’re assured a spot in our school and would
matriculate after completing your senior year.

Since you’re not required to take the MCAT or invest the substantial time required when applying to multiple medical schools, we encourage you to explore your academic interests during your junior and senior years, thus broadening your college experience.
You must submit your primary application by Feb. 1 of your sophomore year and your secondary materials by Feb. 15.
