CD28-mediated pro-survival signaling: a novel therapeutic target for the treatment of multiple myeloma (Completed 2013)

CD28 is a pro-survival signaling molecule in multiple myeloma; however, the downstream signaling components that deliver this signal remain almost completely uncharacterized. My thesis explores the critical signaling components that transduce this signal and demonstrates that CD28 is targetable in vivo to overcome chemotherapeutic resistance
