Updated November 13, 2020

Michael E. Cain, MD, vice president for health sciences and dean of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, joined Lieutenant Gov. Kathy Hochul, Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz and Buffalo Mayor Byron W. Brown for a news conference at the Jacobs School to discuss the importance of adhering to safety guidelines outlined by the governor as COVID-19 rates increase in Western New York. “I know that one message that we all want to give to people in Western New York — and we’ve said this before — is help stop the spread,” Cain said.
