Timothy F. Murphy, MD, SUNY Distinguished Professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and senior associate dean for clinical and translational research, conducted a virtual presentation on how to stay safe during this holiday season. Murphy stressed the need to avoid travel and indoor gatherings with people from outside the household. “Trade one Thanksgiving for a whole lot of subsequent Thanksgivings,” he said.
