Updated November 8, 2020

Russo, MD, professor of medicine and chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases, was quoted in a story in the Wall Street Journal about restaurant restrictions in some places as COVID-19 cases rise. Russo said: “I recommend against indoor dining,” noting that while air purification measures, ventilation and spacing of tables can help, they won’t eliminate the danger entirely. The article was picked up by other publications.
