Bhangoo Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Kulwant S. Bhangoo, MD, clinical assistant professor of plastic surgery at UB and chief of plastic surgery at Mercy Hospital, was recently honored by the Association of Aesthetic Surgeons of India.

Kulwant S. Bhangoo, MD, clinical assistant professor of plastic surgery at UB and chief of plastic surgery at Mercy Hospital, was recently honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Aesthetic Surgeons of India.

For the past 20 years, Bhangoo has been visiting India twice a year to lecture, conduct instructional courses and lead workshops in cosmetic surgery.

Senior plastic surgeons from India also have visited Buffalo to observe Bhangoo’s surgeries at Mercy Hospital.

Bhangoo also has been honored by the president of India for his contributions toward the development of cosmetic surgery in India.
