Elad I. Levy, MD, professor of neurosurgery and radiology at UB and co-director of Kaleida Health’s Stroke Care Center, is a featured expert in a video titled “Stopping a Stroke,” which aired on PBS's award-winning Healthy Body, Healthy Mind series.

The program describes how stroke is a leading cause of death and disability in our country and dicusses in detail the different types of stroke, as well as stroke symptoms, risk factors and treatment.

The stories of several patients are told, including that of a young woman whom Levy successfully treated for a middle cerebral artery occlusion.
