The awards, sponsored by the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, support their attendance at the Experimental Biology 2012 meeting in San Diego this spring.

Adamah-Biassi and Hutchinson work in the laboratory of Margarita L. Dubocovich, PhD, chair of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.

The MARC Program aims to increase the number and competitiveness of underrepresented minorities engaged in biomedical and behavioral research. It is funded by a grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences.
