Our eighth annual Biochemistry Research Day was held on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center (Ballroom).

Our Elizabeth Olmstead Ross keynote speaker for 2010 was Richard K. Bruik, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Bruick's research interests include regulation of mammalian oxygen homeostasis, regulation of mammalian iron homeostasis, cellular sensors of environmental and metabolic cues and cancer.
