The QIPS Committee is charged with ensuring residents and faculty members understand, participate in, and feel responsible for the quality of patient care delivered in clinical settings.
The UB GME Committee and the ACGME expect that residents and fellows are integrated into the health systems to participate in identifying and responding to patient safety concerns and quality issues.
The QI/PS committee includes representatives from all of the Jacobs School GME sites.
