Commuting to Jacobs School Building

There are several travel options aviable to you when visiting the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Science on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC).

Aside from ride shares and taxis, you can travel by car and take advantage of the ample parking whether it's metered street or at one of the many parking ramps. Another viable option is to use the NFTA bus or Metro rail with service from the University's South Campus or from one of the many Park-n-Ride lots around the Greater Buffalo Area. 

NFTA Bus and Rail

NOTE: Faculty, staff, and students of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences can recieve a NFTA Bus and Rail pass that allows for free and unlimited use of all NFTA buses and rail.

Parking Lots and Ramps

The BNMC offers UB faculty, staff, and students discounted monthly rates for many of the park ramps on the medical campus.

Metered Street Parking

Along with the parking lots and ramp, there plenty of metered street parking along the BNMC streets including but limited to Main, Ellicott, Washington, Carlton, and N. Oak streets. There is a mixture of old coin operated as well as the newer smart pay stations that can be controlled by the Buffalo Roam app
