The Division of Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation seeks to create partnerships between pediatric and rehabilitation professionals and the families and children with special needs in order to optimize the independence of the child.
All pediatric residents rotate through our clinics to gain expertise in development, learning, and rehabilitation. We also offer a one module elective for medical students in their third or fourth year.
Perhaps nowhere in medicine is the importance of prevention and intervention as critical as in the care of children with developmental or acquired disabilities. Interdisciplinary teams are designed for case management of essential rehab diagnostic, monitoring and equipment services. Developmental pediatricians are involved in all aspects of our program.

Our division is part of UBMD Pediatrics, a member of UBMD Physicians' Group, the medical practice plan for the University at Buffalo. Our clinical care is provided primarily at the Robert Warner Rehabilitation Center located in the Oishei Children's Outpatient Center at Conventus.
