Research and Facilities

Basic and clinical translational research is an essential aspect of our department’s core mission.

Our faculty conduct their research in well-equipped, state-of-the-art facilities located in the school and in Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.

UB is partnering with Kaleida Health System to build a combined Global Vascular Institute and Clinical Translational Research Center near the hospital, due for completion in fall 2011.
