Associate Vice President for Business Operations

Alfred Dunn.

Alfred Dunn works closely with the office of the Vice President for Health Sciences and Dean in support of the VPHS’ strategies and initiatives.

Dunn is a senior health care leader with more than 25 years of experience in academic medical centers. Dunn’s hands-on leadership and team-oriented, consensus-building management style, coupled with his evidence-based, data-driven practices, have directly contributed to the success of the institutions where he’s worked and the numerous professional societies, boards and community non-profit organizations he’s served.

Dunn earned two master’s degrees from Canisius College: one in business administration and another in public administration. He is a UB alumnus who earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. Additionally, he is a graduate of Leadership Buffalo.
