*These trips are full **This trip and dates are tentative
The trips are mostly primary care focused. However, there may be opportunities for subspecialists and others to provide lectures/discussion sessions to health professionals in the countries depending on the need and interest. Costs vary, depending on location. In general, they are approx. $70-100/day/person (for housing, food, ground transportation, and translators) plus travel costs. Team fundraising activities can help decrease the costs.
These trips are open to all UB Jacobs School faculty and medical students. They are also open to all UB and non-UB health professionals and health professional students, so please feel free to let others know about these opportunities. If you would like to serve overseas, but are not available during the above dates or would prefer to go to different countries, please contact us. We can let you know about other opportunities with non-UB organizations.
