Health Informatics

Our health informatics research addresses the challenges and opportunities associated with using information technology to improve care in and across multiple health care settings.

We seek to transform systems to prevent redundant diagnostic testing, adverse drug events and other undesirable health care outcomes in outpatient, emergency room, hospital and post-acute environments.
