Internships and Rotations

Students work with a faculty member.

Our internships and rotations at sites including area hospitals, clinics, labs and research and development companies let you apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to research and professional environments.

Our internships provide you with tangible accomplishments. You may design an informational brochure, computerize an inventory system or even develop procedures your host site will put into practice. These will help you stand out at job interviews and on graduate school applications.

Our students have gained on-the-job experience in clinical practice, research, business and journalism during internships at:

  • hospitals
  • community health clinics
  • laboratories
  • research and development companies
  • pharmacies
  • health maintenance organizations (HMOs)
