Hello Everyone,
I’m sure you are anxiously awaiting your well-deserved, upcoming break!
The Clinical Immersion Specialty Preference Pre-Survey for Clinical Immersion 3 (9/14-9/25) will open June 8 at 9 a.m. thru June 12 at noon. The link will be sent on Monday morning.
In preparation for the upcoming Clinical Immersion, you will have the opportunity to select your specialty preference for the clinical setting that you are assigned for this Clinical Immersion (Inpatient, Outpatient, or Procedural). Please note that we do our best to accommodate these preferences, but due to site availability you may not be placed in your specialty of choice. This is not a first come first serve survey for site placements.
On the survey, please indicate if you are interested in a rural site placement. The rural sites are located primarily in Westfield, Dunkirk, Olean, Jamestown, and Fredonia. Please email me with any rural site questions.
Lastly, please indicate in the survey whether you have any local transportation concerns that would make it difficult for you to travel within the City of Buffalo and the surrounding local suburbs. Please be sure to give a short explanation of your particular circumstances that make transportation very difficult for you. Please keep in mind that due to the limited number of placements on the medical campus, you may have to rely on public transportation, Ubers, etc. to get you to your clinical immersion sites.
