Radiation Safety and Health Physics

The Health Physics division of the Department of Nuclear Medicine has provided radiation safety support services since 1972.

The Health Physics division’s multitude of services helps to ensure compliance with the New York State Dept. of Health and the New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation rules and regulations. The Health Physics division is also heavily invested in the teaching responsibilities within the Department of Nuclear Medicine.
