Steel erection is underway in downtown Buffalo for the first three floors of the University at Buffalo’s state-of-the-art medical school.
Floors four through eight will emerge this summer.
The 628,000-square-foot building will be the largest medical education facility in the United States. It also is the largest construction project in the university’s 169-year history.
Once completed in 2017, more than 2,000 faculty, medical trainees and staff will learn, work and conduct research here.
