Claim Your UBit Account

Shortly after you receive an offer of admission, you will be emailed instructions on how to access your UBITName and person number along with instructions for activating your account.

Once you have your UBITName, person number and one-time use password, you can activate your UBITName account.

The UBITName Manager is a self-service web page you use to activate your UBITName, change your password and manage your security questions.

For your security, your UBITName account is protected by Duo two-step verification. Duo is required to access important UB services like MyUB, HUB Student Center and UB Learns.

The UB Online Directory lists enrolled students and employees at UB. You can update the user-supplied information for your entry in the UB Online Directory yourself.
