Professional Summary:

I am a board-certified neurologist specializing in the treatment of headache and facial pain disorders, including migraine, trigeminal autonomic cephalgias, and neuralgias.

After completing my residency here at the University at Buffalo, I continued my training at the Montefiore Headache Center in the Bronx where I learned from leaders in the field how to care for a very diverse population of patients. I am excited to be able to bring back the skills I have accumulated to provide exceptional care to patients and education to trainees at the institution that helped shape me as a physician.

I truly believe that patients should be active participants in their care and so education is a key component of visits. During the initial interview, we will review the headache history in detail to determine/confirm a diagnosis. I encourage patients to ask any questions and voice concerns so that we can ultimately create a tailored treatment. This may include pharmacologic treatments (acute and preventive medications) and non-pharmacologic treatments including neuromodulatory devices, behavioral therapies, and lifestyle modifications. I also offer Botox injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and trigger point injections to treat migraine and other headache disorders.

My research interests are similar to my discussions with patients, focusing on the impact of headache disorders on their life as well as the evaluation of therapeutic options.

I am currently seeing patients at the UBMD Neurology clinic located in Conventus as well as the UBMD Neurology Main Street clinic in Williamsville. I also care for adults at BGMC, where I consult on and provide inpatient care for patients presenting with a wide array of neurological manifestations and disorders.
