Professional Summary:

In my current work with the New York State Area Health Education Center (NYS AHEC) System, I support a statewide network with responding to and implementing community-based programming to best meet the ranging health needs of NY residents. With programs addressing a myriad of topics such as healthcare career pursuit, rural health, maternal health, behavioral health, aging health, and health issues particular to vulnerable populations, the NYS AHEC System aims to increase education, awareness, and accessibility to quality healthcare services. Prior to my transition to Program Director, I previously served as Interim Associate Director and Director of Development and Evaluation. Within these positions, I supported the day-to-day operational oversight of the NYS AHEC System and further managed statewide and regional grant/fund development initiatives. I also led the evaluation of systemwide programs and activities, as well as the preparation of cohesive, succinct reports across multiple grant initiatives. Across my tenure with the Primary Care Research Institute in the Department of Family Medicine, I have further supported several other grants, with a primary focus on healthcare education and workforce development.
