Movement Disorders
I am a neurologist with additional training in Movement Disorders. I see patients in the outpatient setting with Parkinson’s Disease, Essential Tremor and dystonia amongst other movement disorders. I have a special interest in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to help select ideal candidates for this procedure. I am proficient in making adjustments to DBS stimulation settings in the outpatient setting. In addition, I am also trained in botulinum toxin injections that can be useful in patients with dystonia, spasticity and sialorrhea. My research interests also center around movement disorders.
I cover Buffalo General Hospital throughout the year with the Adult Neurology General Consult Service. I enjoy working with both neurology residents and medical students while teaching them important clinical examination skills. I also help assist interviewing prospective candidates for our Neurology residency program.
I was born and raised in Buffalo and I enjoy treating patients from my community.
