Dr. Shaw is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services, completing his medical education from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2020, graduating with Research Honors. In 2023, he completed his Emergency Medicine Residency training from the University at Buffalo Emergency Medicine Residency program, and completed his Fellowship in Emergency Medical Services from the University at Buffalo in 2024. Since his graduation, he has been actively practicing Emergency Medicine, and enjoys working alongside the entire team of residents, PAs, NPs, nurses which make the Emergency Department one of the most enjoyable places to work in healthcare.

When not in the Emergency Department, he works alongside the amazing group of career and volunteer EMTs and Paramedics with the Western New York community, and is active as the System Medical Director for Wyoming County EMS and all the volunteer agencies which provide care for their community within Wyoming County.
