Dr. Potter is board-certified in General Surgery, board-eligible in Vascular Surgery, and certified to read vascular laboratory studies through the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation exam. She has published numerous manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, has written a book chapter on venous and lymphatic disease, and has presented at several regional and national meetings.
While in residency, Helen Potter, MD completed a research fellowship with the Vascular Surgery Division at the University of Southern California with a focus on complex endovascular aortic repairs. Dr. Potter has received several awards during training from the University at Buffalo Department of Surgery and holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University at Buffalo.
