Neuroimmunology; Neurology
I am a board-certified adult neurologist; fellowship trained in multiple sclerosis/neuroimmunology. I see multiple sclerosis patients and related diseases, such as neuromyelitis optica and MOGAD. I coordinate with the infusion center at University at Buffalo.
I plan to have involvement in Phase 3 clinical trials for novel therapies and other trials that may further the treatment given to MS patients.
I am involved in medical student education, giving lectures during their 3rd year curriculum while having them involved in my clinic. I am also involved with resident education while they rotate in outpatient clinic and on the inpatient general consult service. I hope to set interest in neuroimmunology within these learners to show how much our field has evolved and will continue to evolve over time. I plan to help set a foundation of knowledge for general neurology in all of my learners.
