Medical Alumni Association
The Medical Alumni Association represents over 11,000 alumni of our school, some 4,000 of whom reside in the eight counties of Western New York.
Our Mission
The mission of the Medical Alumni Association is to
- promote the interests and welfare of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
- advance the cause of medical and biomedical education
- to inculcate a fraternal spirit within the undergraduate body of the medical school
- sustain this spirit among its alumni/ae, thereby providing for a continued interest in the activities of the school.
The Medical Alumni Association (MAA) proudly sponsors a broad spectrum of programs and activities aimed at connecting and supporting our medical and biomedical alumni, students and residents.
Each year we present a Distinguished Medical Alumnus Award to an MD and PhD graduate of our school who is recognized nationally or internationally for his or her outstanding contributions to medicine and the biomedical sciences, the arts or the humanities.
