As a family medicine physician, I care for patients of all ages and provide both routine health care as well as treatment for a wide variety of conditions. I enjoy getting to know my patients and listening to their concerns to best help them navigate their health. I approach all patients with empathy, working to understand potential barriers, family dynamics, and cultural background to create a plan that works best for them and their families. As a primary care physician, I feel it is important to discuss and promote preventative health and to educate my patients regarding steps they can take to promote healthy lifestyles. Taking advantage of my master’s degree in nutrition, I have a particular interest in obesity prevention and management. I work with patients to explore treatment options and to help them make small changes over time to improve their lifestyles.
I have been practicing family medicine in Columbus, Ohio and have recently moved to Buffalo with my husband, who is also a physician. I am excited to be a new member of the UB family and am looking forward to seeing patients and precepting students and residents at the ECMC Family Health Center.
