Since its inception, the Department of Urology has continued to grow and distinguish itself as a leader in education, research and clinical practice.
The experience that faculty members bring to our department is unparalleled. At affiliated clinical settings, our accomplished physicians demonstrate excellence across all areas of urology. Many of our faculty members hold secondary appointments in other departments, reflecting the high demand for their diverse skill sets.
Our residency’s trainee-centered culture enables future urologists to take advantage of a collaborative environment, dedicated wellness programs and individualized mentorship. Further, residents have access to more than 20,000 cases per year covering every facet of urology — including robotic cases and advanced prostate cancer care — and they master innovative technology like high-intensity focused ultrasound and novel tools for kidney stone removal. After completing residency, our urologists pursue rich opportunities in fellowship training and private practice at institutions across the country.
