Service Activities:

  • I created a "mini pathology rotation" at ECMC. The mini rotation is composed of observing gross/frozen section for 2 hours and double scoping with me reviewing teaching sets for 2 hours. Until January 2026, 3 medical students went thought this mini-rotation. Their feed back is very good.; Train medical student to learn basic pathology (2026–present)
  • Train Dental residents about head and neck pathology and research; Train Dental residents (2025–present)
  • The search committee was organized by dean of our medial school, and was composed of chiefs or chairmen from several departments. I participated in the interview process.; Served as search committee member to find a new Chairman for the Department of Pathology. (2025)
  • Helped inviting CAP president Dr. Jim Zhai to come to our department, giving a lecture regarding thyroid pathology.; Helped to organize Grand Rounds in our department (2025)
  • Working together with president, organized 4 meetings in 2025, invited 4 famous pathologists to Buffalo to give lectures. Taking care financial aspect of the WNYSP, including successfully getting company's sponsorship from several companies in 2025.; Serving as Board member and treasurer for Western New York Society of Pathologists (WNYSP) (2025)
