Professional Summary:

I am currently an Emergency Medicine attending in Buffalo, NY. I completed my Emergency Medicine residency at the University at Buffalo where I also served a Chief Resident. I first completed my undergraduate degree at Colby College, where I double majored in Biology (with a concentration in Neuroscience) and Psychology, as well as a minor in Chemistry. I did a transitional year working full time as an emergency room technician at Lakes Region General Hospital and volunteered as an emergency medical technician (EMT) with the Center Harbor Fire Department. I then completed medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

As Chief Resident, I specifically served as the Academic Chief which allowed me to plan our Grand Rounds curriculum. I also had the opportunity to work closely with program leadership and be an advocate for resident issues. I also completed an EMS Fellowship here at the University at Buffalo. I have a particular interest in large events (ie. marathons, NFL and NHL games, etc.) and HEMS and critical care transport. During fellowship, I spent a lot of time working with first responders on cardiac arrests, both in the field as well as via medical control. This fellowship has also allowed me to continue my passion for teaching.

I feel my vast, diverse experiences and leadership skills make me a unique, powerful individual ready to accept and assist with any challenge whether it be individually or as a group. All of these experiences have made me a strong leader as well as a dedicated group worker.
