At the Medical Education and Educational Research Institute (MEERI), we are dedicated to enriching the educational experience at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Our work is driven by three interconnected areas that support both learners and educators:
The Educational Success Program supports our learners throughout their medical school journeys. We offer courses, workshops, and individual sessions designed for learners to develop or refine evidence-informed strategies to help them thrive academically and professionally.
Our Project Management Team ensures the seamless execution of educational initiatives, collaborating across departments to bring strategic ideas to life and enhance the overall learning environment.
The Faculty Support Programs provide training and resources for instructors to enhance the learning environment through evidence-informed pedagogy, curriculum and instructional design, effective assessment strategies, clinical precepting, and approaches to supporting struggling learners. Through partnership with faculty, evidence-based educational initiatives and instructional innovations are integrated into the learning experience to promote excellence in teaching and learning across all settings.
