Professional Summary:

As a hematologist on the Leukemia Service at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, I treat patients diagnosed with acute leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes, chronic myeloid leukemia, chronic myeloproliferative disorders, as well as other bone marrow disorders. My clinical role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient care for patients with these diagnoses.

In addition, Roswell Park Cancer Institute is the site of my clinical teaching. I am responsible for supervising, teaching and providing mentorship to medical students, internal medicine residents, as well as hematology/oncology fellows at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. I am able to provide trainees with a comprehensive knowledge of both the inpatient and outpatient management of this complex patient population.

Furthermore, I have an active translational research program. My translational research interest revolves around further understanding the role of the immune microenvironment in maintaining minimal residual disease in acute myeloid leukemia. I am also looking to develop novel immunotherapeutic strategies for this disease.
