Professional Summary:

As an Obstetrician-Gynecologist at UBMD, I care for patients at our OBGYN outpatient location on Youngs Road, and I perform deliveries and surgeries at Oishei Children’s Hospital. My practice involves providing comprehensive care to patients throughout their lifetime, including preventive healthcare, low- and high-risk pregnancy care, and management of gynecologic issues. I am skilled in gynecologic surgeries including vaginal hysterectomy. Additionally, I enjoy caring for transgender males and gender-expansive individuals.

I received subspeciality fellowship training in Complex Family Planning, through which I gained expertise in caring for patients needing contraception who have medical issues, patients with complications due to their contraception, and patients experiencing pregnancy loss. I strive to inform my patients about all available treatment options and guide them non-judgmentally in making the choices that are best for them and their families. My broad research interest is in implementation science, and specifically in the intersection of care for patients experiencing spontaneous and induced abortion.

I have always enjoyed working with students and residents, and have been honored with teaching awards in medical school, residency, and fellowship. As an academic physician, I am passionate about continuing to train the next generation of physicians to provide high-quality and compassionate care for their patients and to advocate for reproductive justice.
