Service Activities:
  • Global Health Rotation for University at Buffalo Medical School; As an Internal Medicine faculty member, led team of medical students providing basic medical care for both chronic and active conditions in a clinic located in a remote region of the Amazonian Basin. (2015)
  • Global Health Rotation, Physician Ministry of Health, Kisoro, Uganda; Selected for a month long clinical rotation as the only US trained physician at a resource-poor setting in rural Uganda. Responsible for critically ill patients in the ICU, male and female wards, inpatient as well as a 2 times per week outpatient clinic. Saw more than 70 patients per day. (2013)
  • Global Health Program, Fudan University Hospital; Medical Student, Global Health program, Fudan University Hospital, Shanghai, China Spent a month in large university hospital rotating through various departments including NICU, General Floors, GI, Hepatology, Renal, Surgery and Traditional Clinical Medicine. Linked with visiting Neonatal team from Toronto. (2011)
