Professional Summary:

I am a adult primary care physician and my clinical practice is focused on the longitudinal care of a diverse spectrum of patients involving acute care, chronic disease management as well as preventative care and screening. I enjoy fostering long-term meaningful therapeutic relationships with my patients and working with them to better their overall health and well-being.
I am also a medical educator, and my academic career has been focused on the clinical teaching and evaluation of medical students and residents, as well as curriculum development and improvement, specifically focused on medical student education in evidence-based medicine practice and clinical skills. My research involves developing and studying educational methods for teaching trainees best practices for clinical documentation in the electronic medical record. I have worked with colleagues to present and disseminate our findings at several local and national meetings of medical educators.
I attended medical school and did my residency training in internal medicine at Northwestern University‘s Feinberg School of Medicine and the McGaw Medical Center for Graduate Medical Education in Chicago, IL. I was on faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Northwestern from 2014-2019 and was involved in UME at the School of Medicine during my tenure. I have recently moved back to Buffalo with my family to join the faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine and accepted a position as the Internal Medicine Clerkship Director.
