Medical students in the University at Buffalo’s Class of 2015 celebrated the next steps in their medical careers during a Match Day event March 20.
Each class member received a sealed letter from the National Resident Matching Program. The students opened their envelopes at the same time, revealing where they will pursue their medical residency training.
Family, friends and faculty members joined in the festivities. The event was held in Statler City’s Golden Ballroom in downtown Buffalo.
All 140 fourth-year medical students are listed below with their future medical specialties and locations of their residency matches. Nearly one-fourth of the class — 33 students — have chosen to stay at UB for advanced training.
