Helped Develop Department’s Degree Programs

For the last two years, Titus has co-chaired the department with David Kofke, PhD, UB Distinguished Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering.

Prior to that, he served as associate chair when the department was formed.

Titus was instrumental in developing the proposals for the undergraduate and graduate programs in biomedical engineering that were approved by New York State in 2010 and 2012 respectively.

His research activities focus on integrated multifunctional sensors, biochemical sensors, bio-inspired vision sensors, CMOS-based imaging and neural network algorithms.
