The Downtown Campus is home to the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, a hub of life sciences expertise and innovation in Buffalo Niagara, the Ross Eye Institute, and the Jacobs Executive Development Center.
Administrative offices and many research and teaching facilities of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences are located on the South Campus.
UB's North Campus is located in suburban Amherst. The North Campus has more than 100 buildings, including apartment-style student housing as well as state-of-the-art academic buildings.
