How to Apply

Our rigorous fellowship program is competitive and selective; dozens of physicians apply each year, but we accept only up to three.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, you must either:

  • be currently enrolled in an adult or pediatric neurology residency program certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
  • already have completed an adult or pediatric neurology residency program certified by the ACGME

Please note that we can support either a J-1 or H-1B visa.

Deadline to Apply

With a rolling deadline, there is no cut-off date for applications. We review applications when we receive them.

Interviews

We interview all qualified candidates, and we typically conduct interviews two or three times per year.

If you qualify, we’ll send you an invitation with the interview schedule. To give you an opportunity to become better acquainted with our department and our faculty members, we let you start off your day with either a neurology grand round or an epilepsy surgery conference.

Our program director will provide a comprehensive overview of the fellowship, and you will be interviewed by faculty members and current fellows.

Current fellows in our program create a warm, welcoming environment; they will provide you with a tour of various training sites.

Submitting Your Application

To apply for our epilepsy fellowship, you’ll need to submit:

  • curriculum vitae
  • at least three letters of recommendation
  • personal statement
