We have a postdoctoral associate position available immediately. The successful candidate is expected to be the driving force in developing a single photon emission tomography system based on a novel self-collimation concept. The position offers a motivated individual an outstanding opportunity in developing innovative methods and techniques in a new technology field.
Desired Qualifications
The desired qualifications of the position include: 1) a Ph.D. degree in applied science or engineering, preferably in a direction in which the previous training and skills are closely related or transferable to developing a radiation detection-based imaging system; 2) algorithm and software development experiences and solid math skills; 3) experience in image reconstruction and/or instrumentation research and development; and 4) knowledge about radiation physics and experience in Monte Carlo simulation.
