Meet Roshani Krishne Gowda, MBBS, Pediatrics Resident

Tell us about how you developed an interest in pediatrics.

I am interested in pediatrics because a lot of it has to do with engaging with and being able to manage the family as a unit, which, I think, is a wholesome way of promoting health care.

What's been one of the best aspects of your residency experience?

The multiculturalism that I get to see in both patients and provider groups.

What drew you to the residency program at UB?

To be honest, I have heard a lot of good things about Buffalo about how it is the city of friendly neighbors and this is one of the most important things for an international medical graduate.

What are some of your favorite things about Western New York?

The beautiful landscapes, particularly summertime and spring.
